Are you aware of the Certified Government Chief Information Officer program, the only local government CIO certification program in the country? Did you know you can apply for a scholarship from NJ-GMIS toward the cost of the program? The CGCIO Certification Program is a 12-month "on-line" course that lays the foundation for assessing and addressing some of the most critical issues facing IT leadership in the public sector. The purpose of this program is to equip leaders with the requisite tools to manage and improve their organizational technology assets. The NJ-GMIS Foundation is offering up to a $4,000 scholarship to NJ members of GMIS International (in good standing) who are accepted into either the UNC School of Government CGCIO program, or the Rutgers/CompTIA CGCIO Program , presented in partnership with CompTIA and the Rutgers Center for Government Services.
