NJ-GMIS is an association of New Jersey government IT professionals and a state chapter of GMIS International. Our mission is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, information and experiences that foster members’ knowledge of technology developments to better serve their organizations. We accomplish this by providing our members with collaboration tools, networking opportunities, educational programs and scholarships. Our members work in cities, towns, counties, municipal authorities, K-12, higher education and school boards from across the state.

Established in 2004The New Jersey chapter of GMIS was chartered in 2004 when a group of technology leaders saw the need for a forum for the exchange of ideas to enhance the utilization of technology in their organizations. The success built by the dedication of those earliest members is continued today, reaching hundreds of organizations across the state each year.
