About New Jersey GMIS
NJ-GMIS is an association of New Jersey government IT professionals and a state chapter of GMIS International. Our mission is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, information and experiences that foster members’ knowledge of technology developments to better serve their organizations.

We are an association of public sector technology professionals from cities, towns, counties, municipal authorities, K-12, higher education and school boards from across the state.
MembershipMembership is open to any public sector organization seeking to optimally leverage technology to best serve its constituents. Public sector membership is agency wide, meaning all employees of the member organization are considered NJ-GMIS members. Private sector membership is also available.

The initiatives of NJ-GMIS are led by a volunteer board comprised of government IT professionals from a variety of organization types across the state.
EventsThe chapter hosts networking and educational events throughout the year including our incredibly popular Technology Education Conference, annual cyber security event, regional round tables and corporate partner seminars.
