NJ GMIS recently partnered with the NJCCIC to provide a presentation on Cybersecurity at the NJ League of Municipalities Conference. Contents of the presentation are available for review and download below.

This session will provide the audience with an understanding of ransomware, a type of malicious software that attempts to extort money from victims by restricting access to computer systems, mobile devices, and files. Analysts will outline how ransomware works, why itís so prevalent, and how individuals and organizations can best protect themselves from a ransomware infection.
